ESSA District Report Card

Converse County SD2Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Report Card

Superintendent's Message

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is the federal law adopted in December 2015 that governs all K-12 public schools. The act says all districts and schools must provide transparent information to the public. The Wyoming Department of Education provides a framework so that all school and district report cards meet ESSA requirements.

The Converse County School District #2 ESSA report card provides detailed information about CCSD#2 as well as about each of its schools. Within those reports is information on enrollment, student performance, school finance, graduation rates, and a variety of other data. The numerous embedded links located on various web pages allow the user to drill deeper into the data.

CCSD#2 ESSA report card results demonstrate that CCSD#2 has much to celebrate; however, it also shows areas that need improvement. With a collaborative effort spanning from the boardroom to the classroom and in partnership with students, parents, and community, the Glenrock school district will continue its tradition as a great place for our students to learn and grow.

On behalf of all CCSD#2 staff, I wish to thank parents and others in the community for the opportunity to educate future generations. With community support, collaborative efforts and a positive outlook, we can help our students reach their potential in all areas in life.

Sincerely,

Coley Shadrick

Superintendent
